The Petroleum Museums And Documents Center was honored during a three-day energy exhibition in Kish, which wrapped up on Thursday.  

The 14th International Energy Exhibition, Kish ENEX 2018, decided to honor Petroleum Museums booth for its active participation in the exhibition as well as its endeavors to display the history of Iran’s oil industry.

The Managing director of Kish Exhibition Company, Mahmoud Seddighi, awarded a plaque of honor to the representative of Petroleum Museums, Ebrahim Ranjbarzadeh to appreciate the booth’s activities.

During the exhibition a number of oil industry managers and officials visited Petroleum Museums’ booth including Habibollah Bitaraf, deputy minister of petroleum for engineering, research and technology; Mohammadreza Nematzadeh, the petroleum minister’s senior adviser; Masoud Hashemian, director general of Petroleum Ministry for economic affairs and investment; Tofighi, former minister of science and the president of Research Institute for Petroleum Industry (RIPI); Hashemi, chairman of board of directors of Iranol Company; Karami, head of Petroleum Inspection Company; Saeedi, deputy for economic and investment at Kish Free Zone; Rashidi deputy for operations at Pars Oil and Gas Company; Sharifian, former managing director of the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC); Narimanian, head of public relations department of Iran’s Offshore Oil Company (IOOC); Rahmani, the managing director of Iranian Offshore Engineering And Construction Company (IOEC); officials from the Russian oil company, Tatneft; and Nader Talebzadeh a documentary filmmaker.

The Petroleum Museums booth also succeeded in attracting a great number of visitors from ordinary people with different ages including oil industry retirees and veterans as well as youths who found the exhibition a great opportunity to become familiar with petroleum museums and oil industry concepts.
