The airplane’s first flight took place 54 years ago from England to Tehran where it was delivered to NIOC and landed in Abadan as its first domestic flight.

The airplane was being kept in Ahvaz airport since 18 years ago where parts of its body corroded slightly.   Abadan coastal museum park hosts a number of old oil industry instruments and equipment including old cranes being used for movement of Abadan oil refinery devices as well as military equipment during the world war two.
