Iranian minister of petroleum, Bijan Zanganeh, visited Petroleum Museums And Documents Center booth at the 23rd Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition which is underway in Tehran and wraps up on May 9.

Petroleum Museums booth, located at Hall No.8, has displayed a number of old oil industry objects as well as oil discovery documents in Iran, dating back to 1905.

The booth has been faced widespread visits and a great number of domestic and foreign visitors have attended it to take a look at displayed objects. Media crews were the other people eagerly attended the booth.

Petroleum Museums staff have been busy since the first day of opening the exhibition to the public to explain about the displayed objects and documents.

Petroleum Museums And Documents Center, which was launched three years ago under an order by the minister petroleum, is tasked with collecting old and historic documents related to oil industry since the material discovered in Iran in 1908.

The center has been able to register a number of old gas stations, oil industry buildings and installations as national heritage preventing them from destruction.
