International Day of Commemorating Historical Buildings and Enclosures was held in Abadan Artisan Museum, as the largest industrial museum of Iran.

According to the head of the museum of trainees, Amin Zade Darvish, creating constructive cooperation with the local community, was one of the main purposes of this ceremony.

The ceremony also featured two new windows in the five rooms of the Artisan Museum, organized by the objects and gifts donated to the museum by veteran oil industry people during  the New Year's holidays.

It is worth recalling that the International Council for Historic Buildings and Enclosures known as Ikomus, in 1980, proposed to the UNESCO the April 18th as the World's Day for Historic Buildings and Enclosures.
