Darvazeh dowlat museum hosts toutists in Nowruz holidays
According to the public relations report department of management of museums and document center of oil industry, darvazeh dowlat gas station museum has crowded days in Nowruz holidays and tourist plans include visiting this museum.
In addition of a daily visit from Tourism of Tehran Municipality, This museum has organized an exhibition "the challenge of gasoline and our Planet Earth" for those interested.
Darvazeh dowlat gas station museum In other words, the fuel station No. 6 was built in the last years of the 1310s of the Islamic Hijri, parallel to the first Pahlavi period, by the British petroleum (BP) Oil Company for the distribution of petroleum products such as kerosene, gasoline, and amshi, and was opened as a museum in July 2018.
In each of the sections of this museum, various topics have been discussed, including the history of Darvazeh dowlat neighborhood, the way the place was formed and operated, as well as photos, documents, maps and historical films related to this place, examples of things related to the distribution, transportation and emptying of fuel and Samples of gasoline pump devices are displayed in this museum.
In August 2014, this place was registered as number 31711 in the list of national works of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.
