According to the Management of Museums and Document Center of Oil Industry Public Affairs, Norooz guests in Abadan are visiting all the sights in this city including oil museums by the tourism bus which has been allocated by the municipality for the travelers.
Karamoozan museum is the second project of oil industry museums which is placed in Artisan school and includes the 5-Rooms, the Yard and the Workshops such as the Engine shop, the Pipe shop, the Basic shop, the Carpentry shop, Instrument and Metal workshop and etc…. Artisan School dates back to 1933. This school is recognized as the second museum of oil industry after its restoration.
Benzinkhane museum houses documents and objects related to gas stations such as gas pumps, scales, tins, tools and equipments as well as newspapers, photos and money notes with refinery and oil industry pictures. It was built by British Petroleum Company in 1927.
