Mayor of Abadan visited Benzinkhane Museum

Mayor of Abadan visited different parts of Benzinkhane Museum on March 27th.
According to the Management of Museums and Document Center of Oil Industry Public Affairs, Yasin Kaveh-poor, after visiting the museum and expressing his gratitude, said: “Benzinkhane Museum in Abadan is considered one of the main tourism centers in this city.”
He appreciated the whole work of those who were involved in creation of the museum and the ones who are providing maintenance for it now.
Mayor of Abadan drew lots to give some presents to the tourists and guests of the municipal tour during his visit.
Benzinkhane Museum in Abadan houses a collection of documents and objects related to gas station such as pumps, scales, tins, tools and equipment, as well as newspapers, magazines, photos and money note with refinery and oil industry pictures. It was built by British Petroleum Company in 1927.
