Recalling the drilling of the first oil well in Masjid Suleiman in 1286/1907 and the extraction of oil on the 5th of Khordad, 1287/ May 27, 1908 and pointing out that 115 years have passed since oil extraction in Iran and important documents from these years have been recorded and remembered, he added: Management of the Documents Center and Museums of the Oil Industry has started a good movement to record these works and documents and so far has succeeded in setting up eight museums and permanent exhibitions.

 

The CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company stated that he hopes the implementation of 11 plans for the establishment of museums and permanent exhibitions will be followed up seriously by the management of the documents center and museums of the oil industry, and stated: The National Iranian South Oil Company, as the oil cradle of the country, will definitely implement these plans. And the establishment of specialized Museums for the oil industry will help.

 

Daneshi mentioned having specialized museums in oil-consuming countries and emphasizing the necessity of setting up specialized museums of the oil industry in the country, he stated: The oil industry has had a special effect in the last hundred years, this effect can be examined both before the victory of the Islamic Revolution and after it.

 

He mentioned the establishment of the oil museum in Mahmood Abad as a golden opportunity for employees and their families.

 

The management of the documents center and museums of the oil industry now have eight museums in Tehran Darvazeh Dowlat, Abadan Gas Station, Abadan vocational school, Sabzevar distribution Industry, Masjid Suleiman Well No. 1 , Kerman Oil Burners, Mahmoud Abad Oil Industry Heritage Museum and Tehran Oil Industry Heritage Permanent Exhibition.
