According to the report of the public relations of the management of Museums and documents Center of the Oil Industry, the cataloging of the documents of the International affairs of the National Iranian Oil Company, which includes important documents of Iran's oil exports, has been completed in the documents Center of the Oil Industry and is in the process of registering information in the system.

 

Preliminary steps have been taken to launch the document registration system of the management of Museums and documents Center of the Oil Industry, and will be ready to provide research services to students and researchers in the near future.

 

The Documents Center was formed as one of the departments of the management of Museums and documents Center of the Oil Industry with the aim of collecting oil documents and papers in 1394/ 2015. This department consists of several units namely: identification, valuation, collection, recovery and restoration, organized, cataloging, digital registration, audio-visual unit, the library and publications archive.

 

Since 1394/2015, the Documents Center has diligently and persistently identified, collected, classified, organized, recovered, analyzed, restored, protected and preserved important documents from all the sections of the oil industry. If it wasn't for these measures, maybe now the history of 115 years of the oil industry would be empty of documents in some parts and many of these historical documents had been eliminated.
