National Officials Visit Abadan Trainees’ Museum

Abadan – May 25, 2025 A delegation of national officials visited the Abadan Trainees’ Museum on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

The delegation included Amir Tabbakhi, Head of the Organization of Museums and Memorials under the Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Values, and Hossein Shameli, Director of the Documentation and Museums Center of Iran’s Oil Industry.

The visit was attended by several provincial cultural officials and experts. During the tour, the guests explored various sections of the museum, including collections of historical documents, photographs, old training equipment, and memorabilia related to the oil industry and the Sacred Defense era.

The visit aimed to assess the museum’s potential for expanding cultural collaborations, enhancing the documentation of oil industry history, and strengthening its role in narrating the resilience of the people of Abadan during the Iran–Iraq War.
