The Center for Petroleum Industry Archives and Museums announces the appointment of Mr. Abdullah Saeedi as the Head of the Documentation Center and Museum Projects at the National Iranian Drilling Company. This decision was made by Hossein Shameli, Director of the Center, following the recommendation of Mehran Makvandi, CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company.
This appointment underscores the importance of preserving the valuable heritage of Iran’s oil industry and recognizes the National Iranian Drilling Company’s pivotal role in this sector. The decree highlights the need to identify, collect, document, and safeguard the company’s historical records, artifacts, photographs, and related materials.
Mr. Saeedi’s responsibilities include activating the branch office of the Documentation and Museums Center within the drilling company, identifying experts, compiling a comprehensive knowledge base of artifacts, and conducting specialized training courses to raise awareness of the oil industry’s heritage among employees.
n addition, he will oversee the planning and execution of scientific and research projects in collaboration with specialized institutions, documentation of historical content for knowledge management, and coordination with the company’s public relations department.
