Abadan Boat Club

Abadan Boat Club was established in 1951. This club was one of the most important sport clubs in Abadan and the first one in Iran.

The entry into the club passed through two parallel lines of palm trees. The entry road was above the ground level, similar to an overpass. Next to the building of the club was a bridge linking to Minoo Island.

Both motorboats and rowboats were used in Abadan Boat Club. Tehran Canoe Federation started its work nine years after at Amir-Kabir Dam.
