According to the Management of Oil Industry Documents Center and Museums, a group of senior managers of country’s oil industry accompanied by Hosein Shameli, the Director of the Center, and Hooshang Gholami , Director of Oil Products Distribution Company of Kerman Region, visited Naftsooz-ha Museum in Kerman on Wednesday, March 22, during a one-day visit to Kerman.

During this visit Hosein Shameli , the Director of Oil Industry Documents Center and Museums, acknowledged the undeniable role of the oil in various aspects of economic-social life of the people and said: “ Naftsooz-ha Museum in Kerman has displayed this role properly.”

He considered Naftsooz-ha Museum in Kerman as one of the most beautiful industrial museums in Iran and said: “This museum has the potential capacity for the attraction of all members of society in the country and abroad.”

Hooshang Gholami ,the Director of Oil Products Distribution Company of Kerman region, also named Naftsooz-ha Museum in Kerman as a unique industrial and social museum during this visit and said: “Introducing culture, civilization and cultural-historical capacities is the natural function of museums and in line with this task Naftsooz-ha Museum in Kerman is interacting and cooperating  with all educational and academic organizations and institutions.”

Whilst familiarization with the establishment of Britain Consulate on this visit, oil industry managers also announce that Britain colonial role in Iran is irrefutable and stated: “The achievements of the oil industry after the victory of the Islamic Revolution should properly explained alongside the explanation of Britain colonial role in Iran oil industry in the past, on the visit to the museum.”

Kerman Garden-Museum is an old building in Kerman which was built between 1806-1927 ( Zandieh Era)  and it was Seyed Abolhosein Khan Biglarbeigy’s house (governor of Kerman). After the nationalization of the oil industry this building was first owned by the National Oil Company and then by the National Oil Products Distribution Company which still is.
