The Center for Petroleum Industry Archives and Museums is pleased to announce a call for research papers aimed at enhancing public awareness and expanding scholarly knowledge on the cultural, historical, and artistic significance of the oil industry. As the official custodian of petroleum-related documents and artifacts, the Center invites researchers and enthusiasts to contribute to this growing field by submitting original academic articles.

Suggested Topics:

1. Architecture in Oil Regions A study of historical refinery structures, oil company towns, and industrial buildings.

2. Museology and Petroleum Artifacts Preservation, interpretation, and innovative practices in oil-related museum curation.

3. Oral History of the Oil Industry Narratives from workers, industrial memories, and oral documentation methods.

4. Archival Records of Oil Analysis of historical maps, letters, photographs, and documents.

5. Art and the Oil Industry The influence of oil on visual arts, literature, theater, and cinema.

6. Influential Figures Biographies and works of prominent oil architects and engineers.

Paper Guidelines: • Length: Minimum 2,500 – Maximum 5,000 words •

Structure: Title, author information, abstract (max. 250 words), keywords, introduction, theoretical framework, methodology, findings, conclusion, and recommendations
